Welcome to Cathy's Gluten Free Creations Ltd. 15 years ago I began cooking and baking gluten-free for my youngest daughter. She had many more food sensitivities then than now so baking was especially challenging. After much experimenting and research I finally created several baking mixes that work well for almost anything. The number of gluten and dairy intolerant members in my immediate and extended family has now grown to 10. My family has encouraged me to keep testing new recipes and rework old favourites so no one feels left out at family meals or gatherings. Cathy's Creations was such a success that I was encouraged to write another book. Many who purchased the first book suggested that I package my mixes and sell them as they felt it would encourage more people to try baking and make the book even more user friendly. Enjoy!

Our mixes are unique blends of the following flours: Chickpea, sorghum, urid, brown rice, white rice, sweet rice, tapioca, cornstarch, potato starch. Each mix includes a different combination of flours. Bread mixes include gelatin, sugar, salt and xanthan gum. Taste the difference a good flour mix makes.

All flour mixes test at less than 10 ppm using Neogen Veratox Quantitative Gliadin Test.

What is urid flour? Urid or urad is made from the black mah lentil. The outer husk is removed and the inside is ground to make a fine flour. This flour adds protein and fibre to your baked goods.
